Help us understand the early postnatal period

Becoming a parent is a huge shift, and the early weeks after birth are often talked about in vague terms: “sleep when the baby sleeps,” “you’ll just know”, when what many people actually need is clear and non-judgemental information.

We’re running a short research questionnaire for anyone who has recently been through the early postnatal period (or remembers it clearly). It asks how prepared and supported you felt across different areas of new parenthood, to help us and others understand what really helps.

Who it’s for

Parents and carers who’ve had a baby in the last year or so, or who remembers it well.

About the questionnaire

The form takes a few minutes. Your answers are anonymous and used only for this research. Please don’t include names or anything that could identify you unless you feel that’s appropriate.

If you’d like to take part, you can open the questionnaire here.

Thank you for helping us build something useful for the families who come after you.
