Bumps in the Park

A gentle evening stroll for pregnant people across the parks of south Manchester: fresh air and people who get this season.

Bumps in the Park is a free walking group for pregnant people across Chorlton, Whalley Range and south Manchester run by The Nest Collective. We started as a simple way to get outside and meet other local parents-to-be before the baby arrives.

We've been walking since June and have loved meeting everyone who's come along. A really lovely community is forming, and we now have a WhatsApp group for regular walkers too. Sign up to our mailing list below and we'll send you the location each week, plus an invite to the group so you can keep in the loop.

Come walk with us

Every 2nd and 4th Thursday evening, we meet for a free walk across the parks of Chorlton, Whalley Range and nearby areas.

It is a relaxed 6:30pm stroll: no pace pressure, no sign-up needed on the day. Just turn up, walk, and chat. Birth partners, friends and dogs are welcome too.

We rotate between Longford Park, Chorlton Park, Alexandra Park. The location each week also goes out on Instagram.
